Credentials of Dawn Rhods:

My child care home is credentialed by the Colorado Department of Education and the Colorado Department of Human Services. I have a level I credential in school-age child care and a level 3 credential in Early Childhood Professions.

I have volunteered for 16 years as a board member on County & State Family Child Care Organizations including the positions of: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Newsletter Editor, Legislative Committee Chair, Webmaster and Publicity.

I graduated in the Summer of 2003 with my AAS in Early Childhood Education and an Associate of General Studies from the Community College of Aurora. I hold Director and Head Teacher certificates.

I was an active participant for 5 years on Governor Roy Romer's Early Childhood Committee for the State of Colorado. Assisted in the development of an Early Childhood Professionals Core of Knowledge Book for which upcoming voluntary credential system will be based from. Helped initiate the TEACH scholarship program for early childhood professionals.

Colorado Provider of the Year nominee in 1999.

Offer private computer instruction, courses on webpage building, contracts and outdoor equipment construction.
